By road:
From Athens: Drive to Olympia Odos (Α8) towards Patras exit at junction 25 (Rio), cross the Rio-Antirio bridge and continue on Ionia Odos (A5) for 90 km., Exit to junction 10 (Lefkada / Preveza-Aktio Airport ), from there you follow the signs for Lefkada.
From Thessaloniki: Go to Egnatia Odos (A2) in the direction of Ioannina, go to junction 5-Ioannina / Arta continue to the Ionia Odos (A5) and go to junction 14 (Filippiada / Preveza).
By bus:
From Athens: Schedules daily from Kifissos KTEL Station at 07:00, 13:00, 16:30 and 20:30 (Fri & Sun Extras). Travel Duration: 5 hours.
From Thessaloniki: Schedules daily from Macedonia KTEL Station at 14:15 (Sun & Sundays). Duration: 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Within walking distance you can enjoy the view of the 3 visiting castles of the area (Agia Mavra / Lefkada Castle, Griva / Teke Castle, Agios Georgios / Plagia Castle).
The twin castles, the castle of Griva / Teke, which offers a magnificent view of its towers and the impressive castle of Agios Georgios / Plagia, were built at the beginning of the 19th century by order of Ali Pasa of Ioannina in the design and supervision of French engineers and mainly Colonel Guillaume de Vaudoncourt.
One of the most impressive monuments is undoubtedly the Castle of Agia Mavra / Lefkada. This medieval castle was built at 1,300 by the Frank ruler of the island, John Orsini. Inside the castle there are remnants of Venetian domination.

For lovers of windsurfing and kite surfing, the famous beaches for both experienced and beginners, Agios Ioannis, Myli, Vagia, Agios Nikolaos, are all just 5-10 minutes away from our villas.
Our area, with the wind – the favorable windsurfer all the year, drives the kite up to 40 mph -, its beautiful beaches and its crystal clear waters attracts the lovers of this sport that is developing at a dizzying pace all over the planet.
Lefkada Town is located on the east side of the island just after the bridge entrance on it., and is the perfect starting point for your exploration. Start from the picturesque Ioanni Mela street and continue to the center of Lefkada Town, Agios Spyridonas square. Around the square, you’ll find many narrow paved alleys full of little souvenir shops, where you can buy local products.
Here, you’ll find the Archaeological Museum, the Nautical Museum, the Municipal Art Gallery and Agia Mavra Castle. When the sun goes down, the bars and the restaurants of Lefkada Town come alive! Sit at a tavern to taste the local delicacies or at a bar to drink and dance the night away!
